📜 Valvidia Policies

We do everything we can to keep things simple and fair for families — but we also need a few clear rules so everyone’s on the same page.


💸 Service Fee

There’s no upfront payment when you schedule a pickup or drop-off.
Instead, a $10 processing fee per item is deducted only after an item sells. This covers:

  • Local pickup (within Magic Valley)

  • Inspection, cleaning (if needed), and storage

  • Professional photography & listing

  • Buyer communication, packaging, and shipping

  • Platform fees and handling costs


📆 Unsold Items

If an item doesn’t sell within 120 days, we donate it to a local nonprofit partner.

If you prefer to reclaim it before the 120-day mark, a $10 processing fee per item applies. Returns are only available for local pickups. We do not return items shipped or mailed to us.


🧸 Item Acceptance

We only accept items that meet our What We Accept guidelines.

Any items found to be broken, recalled, incomplete, unsafe, or under $25 resale value may be discarded or donated at our discretion.


💥 Liability

Valvidia is not responsible for damage, loss, or failure to store your items after they’re submitted. By consigning with Valvidia, you agree that:

  • All items are owned by you and in working, resaleable condition

  • Items are not recalled, expired, damaged, or unsafe

  • You release Valvidia from responsibility for theft, fire, water damage, loss, or storage issues


💰 Payouts

  • Payouts are issued after the buyer’s 3-day return window

  • Minimum payout balance required: $5

  • Choose between direct deposit or store credit

  • Payouts must be claimed within 365 days or they are forfeited


🚫 No Returns to Seller for Mail-Ins

If you mailed in your items and they don’t sell, they cannot be returned.
All unsold mail-in items will be donated after 120 days.
