Pay Outs
We use a sliding scale to reward higher-value items:
- $400+ – You keep 85% (cash or store credit)
- $250-399 – You keep 75% (cash or store credit)
- $150-249 – You keep 50% (cash or store credit)
- $50-149 – You keep 40% (cash or store credit)
- $25-49 – You keep 10% (store credit only)
- Under $25 – Not accepted
We will notify you when we have successfully sold and shipped your item. We inform you of the sale price, all fees associated (both shipping and Valvidia processing fees), and your payout. Once we have sent you a notification email you can reply and let us know how you'd like your payout.
Your payout becomes available 3 days after the buyer receives your item. This allows us to honor our buyer guarantee period.
Once your balance reaches $5 or more, you can choose from:
- Direct Deposit - Sent to your bank via Stripe or Venmo (may take up to 3–7 business days)
- Store Credit - Issued instantly via email and never expires
- Donate - Choose a nonprofit from our local partner list
NOTE: There is a 3 day window from when a buyer receives an item to when your payout is available to allow us to honor our buyer guarantee. Fee(s) are deducted from your first sale, or subsequent sale(s) if the first sale does not cover the full pick-up or drop-off service fee. Completed transactions that are available for payout are forfeited after 365 days if they are not claimed.
Yes — payouts must be requested within 365 days of sale. After that, unclaimed balances are forfeited.
Items & Pricing
We accept kids’ gear and equipment that’s in excellent, clean, and working condition. Items must be safe (not recalled or expired) and must have a resale value of at least $25.
Some examples of what we commonly accept include strollers, wagons, scooters, backpacks, desks, sports gear, and kids’ electronics like tablets and learning toys.
We do not accept anything with a resale value under $25. That includes clothing, shoes, baby bottles, bibs, feeding accessories, books, stuffed animals.
We also do not accept anything damaged, incomplete, recalled, or expired. Items that are dirty or require extensive cleaning will also be rejected.
Our team prices your items based on the original retail value, the condition of the item, the demand for it in the current market, and data we’ve collected from previous sales. We’ll always recommend a price we believe gives your item the best chance to sell.
If your item doesn’t sell right away, we’ll gradually reduce the price by 5% every 10 to 20 days to keep it competitive. We’ll also notify shoppers who’ve signed up for price drop alerts.
If your item is still unsold after 120 days, it will be donated unless you request to pick it up before that period ends.
A $10 processing fee applies if you choose to retrieve it.
Item Pickup
You can schedule a pickup directly from our website or text us at 208-420-1704. Just fill out our short form, tell us what you’re dropping off, and choose a pickup time that works for you. We’ll confirm everything by email or text.
Pickup is free upfront — no payment is required when you schedule.
However, once your item sells, we deduct a $10 service fee per item from your payout. This covers:
1.) Traveling to your home
2.) Quality checks and item prep
3.) Photography and listing
4.) Storage until your item sells
5.) Customer support, shipping, and returns handling
If your item doesn’t sell, and you want it back after 120 days, we charge a $10 processing fee per item for the return.
Yes. All items should be clean, fully functional, and ready to sell. Items must also be fully assembled or include all necessary parts. We do not accept damaged, expired, or recalled items. Every item must have a resale value of at least $25.
If cleaning or reassembly is required on our end, we may deduct a cleaning fee between $5 and $15 or a $5 reassembly fee from your payout.
After we pick up your items, our team inspects them for quality and safety. Items that pass our standards are photographed, listed for sale, and stored securely until they sell.
Once sold, you’ll receive a notification and can access your payout via email.
If you need to reschedule, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
If multiple pickups are missed without notice, your account may be temporarily paused from scheduling future pickups.
